- my humble contribution to the 6 Degrees exhibition and postcard exchange by Light Grey Art Lab. I can’t wait for the tons of amazing postcards in the mail!
6 Degrees
6 Degrees is an exhibition and project celebrating the work and cultures of artists from around the globe- a show about the power of the collective voice. From Manila, Philippines, to Vancouver, Canada, to West Virgina, USA, each artist has invited us into their homes, into the cities they live in, to their favorite hot spots around town, and to experience some of the gems that make their place and home special- the features that help define who we are as people. These beautiful, intimate, and telling images come together to form an outstanding collection of original works, but also a project that continues beyond the walls of the gallery. Each artist has created a limited edition of 100 postcards to be distributed to the other participating artists, to friends and family around the world, and spread time and time again. It is about sharing, re-sharing, and connecting us all together.
The exhibition will be on display starting December 6th- January 17th. All of the works are available for purchase as archival prints or signed, limited edition postcards. The originals are screen prints, risographs, embossed, letterpress, digital prints, and more- a brilliant collection of perfectly crafted and meaningful postcards. You can see the entire collection on our Light Grey shop here.
